A’Lisa Funk is a retired competitive swimmer who has several accolades to her name. Listing some of them are — 3-time Division II National Team Title winner, 22-time All-American, and 5-time individual NCAA Relay National Champion.

Also, she was a member of the Clarion Athletics Hall of Fame during her time at Clarion University.

Talking more about her achievements, A’Lisa (a freestyle/butterfly specialist) was one of the main contributors to the Clarion Women’s Swimming and Diving team that dominated the PSAC and Division II from 1983-86. As a co-captain, A’Lisa led Clarion to D-II and PSAC, and also went on to become a 14-time PSAC Champion taking 4 individual titles and 10 relays in 1983.

After retiring as a swimmer, she went on to take a job at Booz Allen Hamilton in Virginia and settled with her husband and kids.

A’Lisa Funk’s maiden name is “Woicicki.”

She hails from Trucksville, Pennsylvania, and lived in Gaithersburg, Maryland as of 2022.
